Let's say I enlist into the Guard as a E-3 or E-4(Assuming I get the Level III cert required for E-4). If I get activated(Let's say for 6-12 months). Will I likely receive BAH or will I be forced to live on base(During activations) Since most JEs don't get BAH and are most to live on base while active
There is a strong chance I may be dismissed from my university for a first-time honor code violation involving using my phone on an exam. I understand I broke the first and most important value of being an officer, which is integrity. I fully accept responsibility, deeply regret my actions, and understand the seriousness of what I did. If I am able to transfer to another school with a 3-year AFROTC program, would I still have a realistic chance of earning a contract for ROTC? By the time I would apply for contracting(usually 1 year into ROTC) it would likely be around 18 months since the incident and dismissal. I plan to be completely honest with the commander, demonstrate genuine remorse, and show through my actions that I have changed.
Update: the ROTC commander says they'll look at it case by case, but since it's the first offense and I am apologetic, the captain said they'll most likely accept me.
