Appreciation For GAMMA.

I've only been playing GAMMA for 3 days, I've finished the og stalker trilogy before I decided to give it a go.

And I have to fucking say, this may be one of the best experiences in gaming I have come across as of yet.

One particular night, I was approaching a bandit camp with my shitty toz, scared shitless since I'm on the hardest difficulty and most bandits can 1 or 2 shot me.

One bandit was whistling sitting in front of the campfire, and I immediately recognised the tune as the fairly popular Ukrainian (Or Soviet depending on your political stances) folk song called "Murka".

It made so much sense that a bandit out of all people would be whistling this around the campfire, small details like this are what make this world so detailed, immersive, and enjoyable.

Anyway, dick sucking aside, I just repaired my first type C weapon to 100% and I'm excited to fuck shit up (or alternatively, get fucked up)

Hello.

I'm relatively new to the stalker franchise (practically, in spirit I've owned and been interested in the games for a while, just never got the time to play them until now).

I'd been looking for a modernised way of playing stalker and I discovered radiophobia 3, I absolutely love it and have reached halfway through.

I adore how it plays and feels, and the ambience around areas like yantar and the labs is absolutely magical with my nc headphones.

I've started to think about what to play next, GAMMA seems very enticing but I'm not sure if Clear Sky and Call of pripyat have something similar to radiophobia that I can really sink my teeth into. The modern feeling is pretty important to me, although I understand the general opinion of wanting people to experience the games as they are.

Outright playing stalker 2 is also seeming like a viable option.

I'd like to hear your recommendations.
