Today I installed the new WebOS update on my LG G5 TV, and since then I’ve had an issue with the audio when watching 4K Blu-rays.

My setup is:
Blu-ray player → HDMI → Soundbar

This setup has always worked perfectly. However, since the WebOS update, I suddenly get no sound when the Blu-ray player is connected directly to the soundbar.

The strange thing is that if I connect the Blu-ray player → TV → Soundbar, the sound works normally.

I don’t understand how the TV could be causing the issue when the HDMI audio connection is directly from the Blu-ray player to the soundbar.

Everything worked fine before the update, so I’m wondering if the new WebOS version changed something related to HDMI, audio passthrough, or the HDMI handshake.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m feeling pretty discouraged and hoping someone here can share their experience.

I’ve tried both Colchicine and Otezla, but unfortunately the side effects from both were unbearable for me. I was really hoping one of them would finally help, especially with my recurring mouth ulcers.

Now I’m wondering what other options are out there. Has anyone been in a similar situation where they couldn’t tolerate these medications? What treatments, medications, or approaches helped you manage your mouth ulcers?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this, because right now I feel like I’m running out of options.
