Jim spoke to me in a dream…

…and he said, “What are you doing, wasting your life reading about my life, instead of creating a life other people might want to read about? I don’t want this. Stop thinking about me. I never wanted to be a leader or a symbol of anything. Find yourself. Be yourself. I got sick of the image after a few years. And people are still wasting their lives examining that image, that old wrinkly skin I shed half a century ago. Move on. There’s still time. What do you want them to write on your tombstone, “Knew a lot about Jim Morrison?”
