Not a locksmith. I recently started looking into the industry for business, and went down a rabbit hole on scam locksmiths. Seems to be a pretty big issue?

There was a video I watched where Google's legal counsel went on a PR tour and alerted the general public about the scams, and even sued some of the culprits.

Then found out they're putting in new processes to vet locksmiths for google search and google ads.

What surprised me most was learning legitimate locksmiths got hit too. Did Google ever actually improve this problem, or is it still a mess today?
