Trouble sending messages from iPhone 17 to android Samsung when Samsung user has iPhone 13 as well
Have posted this in iPhone help but keeps getting deleted even though I need iPhone help and I don’t understand why.
I have iPhone 17. No problems with anything. Issue I am finding is that a non iPhone user can message me but when I message them it tries to send via their iPhone 13 on iMessage rather replying to the text. The iPhone 13 doesn’t have a sim so it is only used when connected to WiFi. Even then some of the messages they send don’t come through via iMessage when they are on WiFi. Anyone know how to sort this out? I have toggled iMessage on and off on the iPhone 13. The send/receive is set to their email/Apple ID and there is not the option for “start a conversation with”
iMessage to iMessage has never been a problem before, and neither has iPhone to non iPhone. But now one of my contacts has both, it is causing a problem.
Will iPhone always default to iMessage even if the text has come from a non-iPhone?
