Is ₹1.5L spread too thin across 13 stocks? Long-term portfolio review (Please be brutal).

Is ₹1.5L spread too thin across 13 stocks? Long-term portfolio review (Please be brutal).

I’m a relatively young investor trying to build a solid foundation for long-term wealth creation. I've managed to invest around ₹1.58L so far, and I'm looking to hold my positions for the long haul.

I’m attaching a screenshot of my current holdings. You'll notice my total returns are currently down by about 2.3%—just wanted to clarify that this is majorly due to the recent Vedanta demerger rather than a widespread hit across all my stocks.

I’ve tried to spread my bets across defense, banking, IT, and pharma to keep things balanced, but looking at it now, I have a couple of worries:

Over-diversification: For a ₹1.5L portfolio, do I have too many individual stocks running?

Consolidation: Would it be wiser at this stage to trim down the number of companies and focus my capital into fewer, higher-conviction names?
