When I first discovered him he was very off putting but after listening to some tracks like boy cut,4424 etc he really is one of a kind
I have thoroughly listened to only 2 of his albums but boy cut is SUCH A VIBE BRO. Like my fav album oat prolly is 4YEO by cole and this hits the same lowkey night drive chill minimal vibe.
Coming to RUAB i dont want to pretend that I didn't like RUAB at the first listen just like I didn't like TPAB by Kendrick but after sitting with it it really grew and some things that helped it do is the reviews and explanations and appreciation posts but I don't see the same for RUAB even though it is commonly called as a classic album, And me not understanding gujrati doesn't help my case of understanding it any better
If we move out of his discography he is the owner of TPC which really is nurturing the next big scene along with siyahi which is gujrati, bringing forth artists like bhadrankar snappy,dripdevta and producers like circletone,bhadri,acharya,NEIL CK etc
Also his show's dedication and energy is one of a kind when we see him doing live shows and making the experience such a vibe while being very authentic and in his roots also bringing back CD's and some actually good merch like the ashtray and not just some overpriced tshirt.
Bro is really one of a kind and I'm very much waiting for his next drop,And if someone truly did understand RUAB(even though it is a very open to interpretation) pls drop content in any way about it be it reddit posts insta reels yt vids cuz I am really intrigued by the album 🙏
AND that hustle insta live was something else,it's a ritual to revisit it every month or so 😭
