Switchback Design Business Logo Concept
Working on a logo for a web design studio and would love some critique before I move forward.
Client brief summary
The business is called Switchback Designs. The client wants the brand to communicate and acknowledge the challenges of running a business is like hiking a switchback trail. Progress isn't always straightforward and sometimes moving forward means taking a step back or sideways. The destination is always higher ground but the path is usually a zigzag.
Questions I have:
- Does the icon read as a trail/path shape or does it read as sideways beakers/mario missiles?
- Does the overall mark convey experience and trust or too generic?
- Does the typography complement the icon?
- Any concerns about scalability?
