Zero clients in 5 years

I would appreciate any tips and guidance you could offer.

I possess over ten years of extensive real world experience in operations. Additionally, I am pretty good in developing Excel systems and now create websites (with Claude, though I have some knowledge of web developing, which helps to not make it look Ai-ish). I have also worked remotely with healthcare institutions and startups, assisting them in developing strategies, implementing functional systems and streamlining their disorganized setups, including CRMs, ERPs, and SharePoint.

Yet, I failed to secure a single client from Upwork, even though the proposals I create are accurate, to the point of task and within budget of the client.

Going back to home country

I will try to summarize and be quick:

After like spending 8 months unemployed, with the only clients I was getting being from overseas (especially from UK), I've decided to go back to my home country (Pakistan).

I build continuous improvement systems for healthcare and logistics businesses, covering everything from basic scheduling to audits and compliance processes.

I'm due to leave Saudi Arabia on 5 July but lately I have been wondering if I am rushing the decision.

Most of my projects bring in £1500 to £5,000 each, so technically I could afford to stay longer in comfort without a traditional job. The problem is that after 8 months without stable employment, I started feeling embarrassed and frustrated about my situation.

The last job offer I received was for 2,000 SAR per month.

I just want to ask: Am I making the right decision or am I letting pride make this choice for me?

P.S: Already packed my bags but still want to feel good about my decision.
