How do you catalog your mineral, or rock collection?

I am curious how people here keep records for their collections once they get past the “a few pieces on a shelf” stage. Photos, labels, spreadsheets, etc... can get messy pretty quickly.
I have been working for a couple of years on an app called FossilVault to help collectors keep specimen records in one place. The name comes from its original focus on fossils, but after feedback from collectors with mixed collections, I expanded it to support minerals, rocks, gemstones, fossils, and mixed specimen collections.
The app can track things like mineral properties, rock type/composition/texture, gemstone cut/treatment/origin/report details, plus photos, notes, acquisition info, labels, CSV export, sync, offline access, and stats.
I would love feedback from mineral and rock collectors especially. What details do you actually care about preserving for each specimen, and what would make a digital catalog worth using?
