Not sure what to do
I bought a hotel room for 3 nights 5 months from now yesterday but it was for $1500 cus I thought that was all they had and it was non refundable which I forgot to check before purchasing. I tried to ask if it was possible to cancel with a partial refund to customer service but it was automated and it misunderstood what I meant and cancelled when that’s not what I was asking for. I called the front desk and asked about it and didn’t was told it was still there and that it was booked through Expedia so I should go through them (I didn’t use Expedia I bought the tickets through the hotel’s website) checked the Expedia app and it has nothing for my itinerary so I have no idea what’s going on or what to do
The most ideal outcome is I get a refund and buy a cheaper room if available but I’m guessing that’s unlikely.
