huge wasp in Mesa, AZ, USA
we’ve been seeing these wasps around our house recently. pretty sure they’re over 25mm long, these wasps are the biggest I’ve ever seen, and they’re a metallic blue/black. initial thought is that it’s Pepsis mexicana, but I’m not sure
