My daughter's were horrified last night to find this in their bath tub! After googling, it seems like it could be a soil centipede, however it swam in water very easily and its back is lined with plates somewhat similar to a mantis shrimp or other similar aquatic bugs. Large sharp mandibles present as well as forked tail. What's this bug?! And will it benefit our raised garden bed where it was released? TIA, Found in central North Carolina.
It's about the size of a US dime, including the legs
Just found this in our office. It is really tiny but we magnified him. It is basically the size of a pencil point.
I need some help because I’m freaking out. Found this in my son’s play mat in his room. It was completely flat so maybe it’s like a shed skin? I’ve literally never seen a bed bug in real life so I don’t know if this is one (praying it’s not but can’t think of how it could have come here) I looked at the corners of his crib and there’s nothing there. He had a bite near his eye yesterday, and today he has a new one by his ear. Can someone please help?
Can you identify this bug by the underside? Hoping it isn't a carpenter ant.
About 0.5 mm wide, completely red and fast lol.
I'm in southern Europe.
Is it some sort of parasite?
soooo cute😭🩷East Los Angeles very tiny guy smaller than a grain of rice 🥺
Saw the small pinchers so kept my distance
Guadalajara, México (very small)
Hello,
I found this caterpillar with what looks like a bag of eggs on its back. It's around 2cm (I guess it is less than an inch?).
I found it today (20th of May) in the south west of France inside my house.
Do you have any idea or what it is?
Thank you
