I’ll make it short. I work at an orthodontic office. The number of men who come in asking how they can enhance their jaw is higher than it should be. They’re always young adults. They always say they have recessed chins and here’s the thing: NONE OF THEM DO.

It’s insane. They are good-looking young men. Many of them hardworking, paying with their own money. Yet they feel like lesser men because they think they don’t have a manly enough jaw. They all look fine but some of them already look manly af at their young age, yet they have dysmorphia that makes them think they look terrible. It’s heartbreaking. Don’t let the internet and toxic spaces poison the image you have of yourself.
