I noticed some of you opted in for the Hawk Book Bundle and didn't receive the access code in their email from Barnes and Noble. I ran into the same problem. I solved it simply by calling Barnes and Noble. I told them my issue and they emailed me the access code to my hawkmail. the number is (844) 932-6657.
Being upfront: I'm looking into whether there's a need for landing support for DV winners (job matching, housing, basic orientation). Before I build anything I want to hear from people who actually went through it, and I'd rather ask honestly than pretend I'm just curious.

Where did you stay the first month, and how did you arrange it?
How much did your first month in the US roughly cost?
How long until you found work, and how did you find it?
What did you get wrong that you'd warn someone else about?
