Help would be appreciated! FPS Drops the longer the game progresses! I feel like ive tried everything!
Hello!
I Come to you with a very unique (I think?) problem with my desktop!
I play league of legends and only league of legends... haha.... And recently (I think last 4-5 months?) whenever i play a game of league my frames start off fine and the longer the games progresses the worse my FPS gets!
My PC specs are as follows!
16GB Of DDR4 Ram (2x8)
H410M S2H Motherboard
i5 10400 2.90GHz
RX7600.
1TB SSD With windows and league downloaded on it
1TB HDD With nothing on it.
Right... So what have i tried to resolve this issue?
Apart from the obvious things within league's settings such as lowest settings possible, capping fps. uncapping fps. limiting to 240fps. Limiting to 144fps.
I Have tried as follows:
DDU! Deleting and reinstalling all of my drivers!
Bringing it into a computer repair store! They told me it was because league was downloaded onto my HDD so they upgraded my SSD and installed everything onto it!
However this did not work as when i got home the problem still persisted.....
Unplugging one of my monitors and playing off just one - I have two monitors one at 144hz and one at 60hz and playing on just one did not resolve this issue.
Getting a new graphics card! I upgraded from a rx570 to a rx7600 and i still get it! Awesome!
Ive run a benchmark test and everything came out reasonably normal. My PC doesnt seem to overheat while playing league when i took it into the pc repair shop when they ran their tests on my pc everything came out fine?
Ram health check.
Clean reset of windows! I did this today and after downloading the appropriate drivers and whatnot. Lo and behold! The issue persisted! Awesome! Love to lose everything on my pc for no reason! 😄
I really feel as though i have tried everything under the sun and nothing seems to work for me... Im starting to lose my mind, my final straw after trying everything was bringing it into a pc repair shop and not even that worked so my finalist straw was to fresh reset my pc and that still. did. not. work. AHHH!
How frustrating!
I am quite simply just trying to play league of legends, which most say runs on a "potato" at 144fps. And according to by best bud ChatGPT (haha) my system should be more than adequate enough to do so with reasonable settings!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you :):):) ❤️
