First time canning and nervous about head space. What would you do?

I figured the 1/2 inch headspace was so none of the sauce spilled out during canning. I didn’t know there was danger if there’s less than that until I saw a recent post here.

After realizing I put the jar in the 3rd photo in the fridge and plan to eat it in the next two weeks, should this be safe? Also what is the margin of error on the tried and true 1/2 inch head space? Are any of the cans in the 2nd photo unsafe?

This is the nchfp.uga.edu spaghetti sauce recipe, used a pressurized canner for 30 minutes.

Where to find fish for adoption / ethical breeders?

I've been keeping aquariums for over a decade and have always wanted goldfish. My boyfriend recently gifted me a 100 gallons stock tank to set up in a covered semi in/outdoor area (zone 10) and I'm stoked to fulfill my goldfish dream.

I've been reading on the sub for a while, and I'm concerned about the ethics and health of fish from box stores, and online dealers and would like the joy to rehome some if not all of the goldfish for the tank. Obviously, it will be a few months before I get the tank to an adequate spot for them. Right now I'm just trying to find websites, subreddits, people looking to rehome fancies.

If you know of anyone looking to rehome (in the Bay Area) or any up to date adoption services give them a shoutout. Also feel free to add any ethical breeders that come to mind. Thanks a ton, very excited!

A beastly bunch this year

Changed strategy from last year when we put plants in too young and too late. This year we started from seed in Feb, then up potted to gallon bags bring them inside for the night, until they went in the ground in April. The difference is night and day. Zone 10a

I have an ASQ exam coming up, I’ve been taking the practice tests I bought from the ASQ website.

I am concerned because in those practice exams the questions aren’t numbered so it’s hard knowing where you’re at for pacing and coming back to questions you were unsure about. Are the questions numbered in the real ASQ exams?

Along the same lines in the practice exams they have each question labeled which section from the BOK the question is from. I assume that won’t be there during the real test?

Thanks a ton a want to be prepared!
