Labor rant

This labor model pisses me off. I’m sorry. But why on EARTH are we on a 4 play from 3:45 until close (10:30) when we have the count, a green bean, and it’s peak summer. I’m so mad, I’m literally in the back on my 15 rn fuming.

Training tips

Hey yall! Just found out today I’m training my first green bean in a couple weeks, and I’m super excited! Any tips?

For additional context, I am in school to be a teacher and have already begun pre-service teaching, so in terms of the actual coaching and teaching I feel okay. More looking for feedback with regards to tips and tricks you may use that are related to the company, if that makes sense (I’m tired and words are hard). Thanks!!

Question

Hey yall, asking on behalf of a coworker. Can we get in trouble for listing too many shifts? They work two jobs and have been listing quite a few shifts. They never call in or show up late if they aren’t covered. Ty!

Rant

I’m sorry, but this new policy if the drive thru partner not being able to help make drinks is bullshit. If it’s a 4 play, including the shift doing their tasks, and there’s a solo bar with 7 drinks, let me make the one drink I’m waiting for at the window. Like you can’t complain about high window times but then not let me help. The connections are so fucking fake anyways. I got coached like 4 times on it a few shifts ago.

raise rant

Put us thru a year of hell, terrible staffing, and lying ablut menu changes then give us the lowest raise in years. My first raise in 2024 was 1.5x higher than this one. What. The. Hell.
