Trying to get into golf
Essentially I am mid twenties female trying to get into golf this summer so I had a few questions
I’ve tried ringing up several golf courses on their “get into golf” programmes and my understanding is a majority of them have already started or now have waiting lists which is a real bummer. I’m in Dublin 8 - does anyone know of any that are starting this summer that I have missed the boat on?
I was also looking for general advice on how to get into golf when I don’t really know anyone to help me, can I play alone? I did do 4 group lessons and I was okay and do have some sort of eye coordination as I play a lot of other sports thankfully. From the lessons, I was hoping to find people to play with but it didn’t really work out.
If I was to book a round - which golf clubs let’s non members play and have easy admin in booking?
Golf clubs are pretty expensive and I’m not sure I’m ready to commit to buying a set - what’s it like to rent or find some second hand ones?
