I’ve recently finished both God of the Woods and Long Bright River and LOVED them. I’ve never been a huge thriller fan as I am a HUGE chicken - I (28F) live alone & am far too anxious for genuine horror or thrillers.

Does anyone have recommendations for suspenseful type / mystery type books that aren’t toooooo scary? TYIA!
