help what is happening?
Is this normal?
2 years ago, I F(21) met a guy M(23) and we hit it off instantly. After 2 months of basically seeing each other almost every day, he proposed to me (we were not in a relationship). I said yes. 2 months later, he randomly told me, when we were making lasagna, that he had gotten back together with his ex (now one of my closest friends). We didn’t talk for about a year after. About 5 months ago we started talking again, and shortly after that, i moved in with him. (Due to my mum being a narcissist, living with her, didn’t work out, and he took me in). Living with him, i met his good friend, who he had a kind of funny relationship with. This guy M(20) basically also lives with us, because he’s there 90% of the time. We only have one bedroom and a (big) bed. From day one, we basically all cuddled and they kinda make out all the time. 2 weeks ago, i met my roommates cousin M(24), who is basically going home with every girl he meets, thats at least a 5 on a scale from 1-10. He and I also kinda hit it off, and now he also sleeps in our bed. Somehow, me and him make out all the time and my roommate and our other friend, also make out all the time.
Today, we kinda talked about it, and realised, that we slid into a weird kind of polyamory. Although, we‘re not all being physically intimate with each other, it is like a Throuple with the cousin as a 4th.
All in all, we‘re not sure of the kind of relationship this is and when it happened.
Summary, TL;DR
I got really close to a guy really fast, but after he proposed to me he suddenly got back with his ex, so we stopped talking for a year. Later I moved in with him because of problems at home, and over time we developed this really close dynamic where I cuddle with him, his friend, and later his cousin too. The two guys also make out with each other a lot, and me and the cousin started making out too. Now it feels like we accidentally slipped into a weird poly/throuple-type situation.
So now again; is this normal? or all we all insane?
