Hi everyone, I badly need help with my Nintendo 2DS XL. It suddenly became super laggy to the point that opening apps and games takes forever. I searched online and saw people recommending formatting the SD card because it might be corrupted.

So I formatted the SD card already, but now my 2DS XL won’t detect the SD card anymore. I honestly don’t know what to do next. 😭

Here’s what happened:

• My 2DS XL was extremely slow/laggy
• I removed the SD card and formatted it on my PC
• After putting it back, the system says it can’t detect the SD card
• I’m not sure if I formatted it the wrong way or deleted important files

Questions:

• Did I mess up by formatting it?
• Do I need to format it to FAT32 specifically?
• Are there files/folders I need to reinstall?
• Is my SD card possibly dead already?

I’d really appreciate step-by-step help because I’m not very experienced with this stuff. Thank you so much
