Can't get rid of my old PC due to emotional attachment. How weird is this?
I was intending to replace my old PC with a new one after 15 years of use, but when I thought of donating or selling it, I just couldn't do it. It's just that I went through SO MUCH with this thing lol, it's been a massive part of my life for the past decade and a half.
I worked remotely for years with it, met incredible people online (both friends and love interests), and played fantastic games which left a longstanding impression on me. It also was the first thing I bought with my own personal money when I was just 16 and got my first job running errands for my family.
Any thoughts on keeping an old PC as a display piece? Is it weird to feel attached to physical objects at 31 years old? I got the space to keep it and the case looks cool.
I can't remember the last time I felt emotional attachment to some... thing... LOL
