So right now I have a ship with room for 5 crew. I've played for ages in the game now over the last few weeks, but going real slow and taking it all in.

Im starting to collect the main group from constellation (being vague to avoid spoilers, but just got the lady from the planet in the mine).

Wandering the ship tho (I have all 5 spots filled) I'm thinking, do I want them all on my ship? Are some better to leave at the lodge and instead recruit some randoms? I feel it may be more fun.

Any advice/tips?

I've seen there's a mod called 'Resupply - Functional Showers, Supplies, & Decorations' but building them isn't really what I'm looking for. I'm more wanting to see about the game's vanilla showers being workable, pressing a button, seeing running water. Maybe even the toilets working that sort of thing.

If the Resupply one (above) is really recommended then I'll give it a go but thought I'd ask before adding something else to my load order :)

Not sure if this is an odd one but I'd love an ability to equip my helmet on and off at will without going into the menus. I don't want it to automatically decided for me.

I've tried favouriting it, this works for putting it on but then doesn't remove it when pressing a second time.

Any ideas?

I had done an earlier run through before restarting with some more mods that have really improved my game - but what I did in that gap was actually remove some mods from Checker90 (among others) that expanded on Cydonia and Akila.

My only past exposure to Cydonia was with the mod, but wow returning on this play through without it feels lost! I guess big props to Checker, the work legit felt like work Bethesda should have done - it just worked!

So long way of giving a shout out to Checker90s mods. Still never been Akila but going to reinstall that one too as I just know it will make things better. Great work!

OK the game's awesome but we can all agree surely that walking through a place and every NPC gives that same, wide eyed, cold stare haha. It's a little bit creepy tbh.

Is there any mod that helps NPCs be less weird like this haha?
