Hurricane Misfires
I have a a 2025 ram 1500 with the SO hurricane engine. Having misfires at idle/neutral, resulting in rough idle and/or complete failure of the engine and the car throwing itself into park. On top it also has rough shifting with 1st and 2nd gear.
I know there was a TSB for the misfiring and they supposedly flashed my truck but no luck.
Has anyone found an actual solution?
Yes I’ve replaced the air filter, looked and felt the exact same except for a piece of foam attached to the underside of the oem filter.
Air filter housing is fully secure
And also does anyone know why this is starting to happen to these engines now rather than from dealership? If it’s truly a computer issue then they knowingly pushed a bad over the air update to my ignition control module/powertrain control module. Never had an issue till about mid April
