Things teams do best and worst day 30: Nemesis Claw

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Nemesis Claw! And the worst thing.

30 days of teams! a month talking about every team, it's been really nice.

Best: Really simple rule, you need to save your recon/scanner to remove the obscured.

You can poison a point, wich is very good, some players like me really struggle against it. you can also force a charge! ( and make fall backs difficult ).

they are a very rounded team, with a gunner and heavy gunner, or you can go melee with the screecher and skinthief.

Worst: i played agaisnt then once, i think theyr firefight ploys are on teh weak side, your fun abilities such as the poison or force-a-charge are dependent on the opponent squad, then you will get a fairly 'square' team.

Things teams do best and worst day 29: Murderwing

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Murderwing! And the worst thing.

Best: Very mobile Chaos marines! really good melee/close range with all the astartes buffs, an also a ploy that reduces damage on melee to make them even mor tanky!!

You have very unique equipments that can give you damage on charge, or a AoE stun!!

you can fight and fall back with a very elves-coded ploy!

Worst: kinda map dependent, you probably dont wanna play on tomb world

also no range, max 8" weapons, and they are kinda weak.

Things teams do best and worst day 28: Mandrakes

https://preview.redd.it/ygww28205zjh1.png?width=798&format=png&auto=webp&s=b8fb47b4b728682d41f56fc7b65a4aac260d72a6

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Mandrakes! And the worst thing.

Best:Very Unique faction rule! being able to turn the saves is very fun, really nice models and a really strong melee roster.

Being able to teleport around , invert saves ( and stun being able to make it stronger ) , and gain buffs within shadow, such as a free dash are really elf coded ( and strong )

Worst: thin paper elves, the rules are really hard to explain to newcomers, and also hard to pilot too.

you need to stay within shadow to get value, some maps can make it easier or harder.

Things teams do best and worst day 27: Legionaries

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Legionaries! And the worst thing.

Best:Angels of Death for chaos! Very flavorful rule! You can adapt to whoever you're against! And your ploys go with your rules too, giving even more buffs for who you choose.

You have a big arsenal of characters to choose!

Equip that Can give a +2 save! Rending and you have psychic attacks!

Worst: rules are not that versatile, melee char os always gonna Go khorne for example.

Things teams do best and worst day 26: Kommandos

Tell me the best thing about the Kommandos! And the worst thing!

Best: Stealth Orks! Very unique equipments with a dynamite and a spear!

Very good ploys with dakka and waaagh! And a damage ignore!

Stealth Grot!

Worst: you need the melee equipment or you gonna have mediocre melee.

10 health, +5 saves, i dont like the sniper, he sucks

Things teams do best and worst day 25: Kasrkin

https://preview.redd.it/bzujlmqtsdjh1.png?width=906&format=png&auto=webp&s=3afdd9cea2d942cc28fef6a9d71bbbae4f83e880

Tell me the best thing about the Kasrkin! And the worst thing

My boys!

Best: Four gunners ( or 3 and a sniper ) is really strong, you can go for piercing or blast/torrent, they are really tanky with 4+ saves + ice in your veins on your faction rule. You can make them faster, tankier or better at range/melee.

You can get Saturate or accurate 1 depending on the situation, and always having severe is insane for a lot of piercing crits this team can have with Elimination pattern Ploy.

vox-trooper givin +1 APL on any range, a 2d6+3 demo trooper, these guys are just boosted!

Seize the initiative is one of the best Ploys in the game, you can play aggressive on tha last play of the turning point and guarantee a kill on a elite on the next turn.

Worst: basically no melee, even with the equipment ( altought you can get a surprise 5 damage first hit, but you still have only 8 health ) some ploys focus on fall back but you will never survive a fight.

Also you dont have any form of seek/seek light, forcing you to play more aggressive but you are not that tanky.

10 units and no torrent/blast protection also.

Things teams do best and worst day 23: Imperial Navy Breachers

https://preview.redd.it/bog8yq0udzih1.png?width=937&format=png&auto=webp&s=28ef8f34866570bc42cb9a5930b1cbcd5a305e61

Tell me the best thing about the Imperial Navy Breachers! And the worst thing.

Best: shotgun spams! a rule that makes you play your characters close to each other and one that helps you deal with blast!

being able to activate two units at the same time is really cool, basically a two shoot actions.

Also you have two pets that can disable on mines, or explode!

Worst: weaker 3/3 shotguns, for me they are overshadowed by scouts, they have some melee but only 8 health.

Attack an defence order Ploys should be combined into one!

Things teams do best and worst day 22: Hunter Clade

Tell me the best thing about the Hunter Clade! And the worst

Best: now THIS is admech for me! With the themes and design. A swiss knife army, you can tô ranger, Vanguard, rustwalkers.

Good whole team buffs with the rules!

Worst: Double-edge sword rules, you need to know when use what.

Not Very tanky thought.

Things teams do best and worst day 21: Hierotek Circle

Tell me the best thing about the Hierotek Circle! And the worst thing.

Best: reanimation protocols is insane + healing on ALL units each Strategy phase, you have 8 units, +3 saves with 10/11 wounds and a leader with 3 APL and 14 wounds with SUPPORT abilities.

Snipers with SEEK just to make sure you are dead.

Worst: slow? they suffer when you kill a lot of then in one turn, but who doesnt??

u/FrankSicarpa — 10 days ago

Things teams do best and worst day 20: Hearthkyn Yaegirs

Tell me the best thing about the Hearthkyn Yaegirs! And the worst thing.

Best: +1 APL and healing distribuitor. They are more offensive than their counterpart, with less range but with shotguns.

Worst: also slow, but now saving on 4, 8 health that you want to get up close.

Personally they are overshadowed by their salvagers brothers.

u/FrankSicarpa — 11 days ago
▲ 177 r/killteam

Things teams do best and worst day 19: Hearthkyn salvagers

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Hearthkyn salvagers! And the worst.

Best: Very thematic rule, making Very shot action Very strong, with a Very good melee ( even better with the strong melee equipment ).

Very objective focused team, plus a good +3 save and Very good defensive ploy ( wrought defence ).

And o really like the lugger to get +1 equip and CP!

Worst: Very slow, you cant make mistakes on movement.

Only one gunner so you have to rely on the grudge tokens to really pump ranged damage

On download ops you can Just turn off the points against them, making most of the ploys useless.

Things teams do best and worst day 18: Hand of the archon

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Hand of the archon! and the worst thing.

Best:really strong and flavorful ability, mostly offensive equips and ops.

action skipping, healing, cheaper fall backs and enemy fall back prevention and a good melee

They have a bird.

I hate the bird

Worst: basically no defensive ops, they are not tanky, so you have to play careful with them.

Also o played against them and the First time learning the rules are kinda confusing ( or maybe im the problemn lol )

( Almost Lost the streak bc i made the post earlier but shitty wi-fi didnt post It )

Things teams do best and worst day 17: Goremongers

https://preview.redd.it/n5ky3pjx2shh1.png?width=696&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca56fbf2f090e9703fccb78de77092fe88cccc97

Now this one i'm very interested!

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Goremongers! and the worst thing.

Best:Gore tanks are so fun, you can adapt the way you play on the offense, your healing is very helpful + being able to take mas 8 damage on range makes then very tanky.

Also, ranged weapon. oh but it's only 2", dont care, ranged chainaxe.

They can also explode!

Worst: really low range/ no shooting, they suffer against elites, e having a full tank look's difficult.

they are a very tecnical team to play, not just charge and fight.

Things teams do best and worst day 14: Farstalker Kinband

Tell me the best thing about the exodite dragon masters Farstalker Kinband! And the worst thing.

Yeah, exodites are not really out so we are skipping then for now.

Best: a Lot of units, Very +5 lethal, Savage ambush and the pistolier are a pain to play against, i got destroyed bc of them.

Worst: weak melee overall, heal on units that Can die on a single shoot action is bad, the enemy can Just protect the marked target too.

Things teams do the best and the worst, Day 13: Exaction Squad

Tell me the best thing about the exaction Squad! And the worst thing, i'll start:

Best: shotgun spam is always Fun, Being able to detect enemies on 4" and not 2" is Very strong.

They have a Very adaptive arsenal with equipment and ploys, to saturate, even range of shotgun, repress is Fine.

They also have a dog.

The dog can put you in jail.

Worst:shotguns long range are kinda bad, no melee, everything always 2APL as i remember.

Things teams do best and worst day 12: Elucidian Starstriders

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Elucidian Starstriders! and the worst thing.

Best:the flavor and visual. God they are the most beautifil tem out there.

The arsenal is a really good rule, unique weapons, Being able to Skip an action is so unique.

Worst: weak melee, for me they are a Jack of all trades but master of none

Things teams do the best and the worst, Day 11: Deathwatch

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Deathwatch! and the worst thing.

Best: The elite of the elite! you have five powerhouses in any situation, plus healing with equipment, especial ammunition to cover anything you need, know no fear, and basically a better command re-roll agains xenos.

Worst: you have to know the machups, positioning since there are only five units, losing one on TP2 is detrimental, they are not a easy team for starters ( and i see some players starting with them ).

i think they are really neat! love the concept of veterans of each chapter combining to make a true force.

Things teams do the best and the worst, Day 10: Death Korps

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Death Korps! and the worst thing.

Best: So many free ploys, simple rules, very good guns, i really like gas bombardment totally iconic, every militarum player prob has this KT and can start playing!

Worst: Blast just shreds these guys, not only they are a horde KT, but also because of their rule.

also i don't know why they are declassified, iconic units should not be DC because its a easy entry point for the game.

Kinda happy to reach day 10. knowing myself i barely do something for this long lol

Things teams do the best and the worst, Day 9: Corsair Voidscarred

This is the elf with the least rules ia have ever seen in any game.

ell me what you think is the best thing about the Corsair Voidscarred! and the worst thing.

I'll start.

Best: fast gunners are very scary, and can free dash too, also add psychics just for the sake of it! their rules are simple and weapons efficient, an equipment that is basically free CP?!?!

And good fall back with firefight ploys.

Worst:2 APL throught the whole squad ( exception the felarch that has a free 1APL action ), so contesting is dificult, without the gunners you will not get good range, so you have to be very safe with them.

Show to us your Corsairs! i really like to see your teams!

Things teams do the best and the worst, Day 8: Chaos cult

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Chaos Cult! and the worst thing.

I'll start.

Best: Buil-a-Chaos team! a very unique mechanic, with a lot of healing when they evolve.

You can adapt our team to the situation needed, also de demagogue with a free fight for another team member is insane.

Con: three box Kill team is absurd, literally get one KT instead of three, such a shame because they look so fun.
