Got Fibre, Router Upgrade?

I had ADSL NBN with Optus modem/router. 3 ethernet cables to PC's and TV for reliable connection, and then the 4th into Google Nest Mesh Wifi. All working well. FTTP installed today and just plugged it into the Optus router. All good. Ethernet connected all getting 1gb down etc, wifi all stable and faster, not AS fast - but also not essential. Would upgrading the Optus modem/router to anything improve anything noticeable and if so is there a simple plug/play option for a novice?

FTTP Upgrade - Internal house network

I'd appreciate some clear language and advice if you have some time, I am not a novice, but no networking expert!
I currently have FTTN through Optus and the line comes into my Optus router. I have 4 ports. 1 goes to my Google Nest Mesh network for WiFi, the other 3 are connected to inbuilt wired ethernet ports in my house direct to desktop PC's and TV.

I am getting a FTTP upgrade on Tuesday with the tech coming to install. What will I need to buy/install/have ready so I can have the same setup with the connection going to my Google Mesh, but also the 3 ethernet ports?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

FTTP Conduit Preparation

We currently have FTTN but getting FTTP "soon". For varying reasons, I want to prepare to encourage to make my preferred location for it to go from street to house. Will they (NBN) allow flexible above ground conduit? If not, how deep does it have to be? Also, what is the diametre/size of the conduit and/or materials required? Many thanks in advance.
