Probably switching from front end to digital, wanted to know what it’s like and was told I should ask here

Basically just the title lol. I’ve been at the front end over a year now and honestly I’m just tired of working directly with customers all day, like genuinely tired, I was told there’s a spot open in “Digital” and to my knowledge that’s OGP. I vaguely know some people who switched from front end to digital and didn’t mind it, but I thought I’d ask here if it’d be a good decision or if I should tough it out in the front end until an opening in a different department I want more shows up

How do I switch departments?

I’m honestly tired of the front end and always having to face customers. Whenever I’m doing returns to the floor or just helping out doing anything besides on a register I feel like I’m just in a better mood with better customer service. I’ve asked a few people how to go about it but nobody gives me a straight answer so I figure I might as well ask here
