I think that the tuning of old encounters is a bit too much

Just for the sake of understanding where this feedback is coming from, I have 800+ hours in the game. I generally know how to position myself and understand the game mechanics quite well. I have two level 100's on Hardcore and I have beaten the game on Ultimate on Hardcore.

With that out of the way, the tuning of the older parts of the game now feel a bit over the top. Could some of these encounters have used some buffs? Sure! Do I think that I should be one-shot through full resists on Veteran by some Bosses and have to play the encounters as if I were playing the old Ultimate? No.

I think part of the charm Grim Dawn had was that it wasn't a complete sweat fest all the time. If you came in prepared and understood the game, you could quite easily breeze through the start of the game. Now my friend who's far worse at the game is writing me about getting stuck on the Slith in the cellar where you help Barnabas at the start of the game. I think that maybe Crate leaned a little too much towards the top 5% of players with this tuning pass.

That's my two cents. Have a nice day!
