Dysarthria
Anyone dealt with this symptom before? Been having this symptom for a few days now and i can barely form a coherent or a nicely articulated sentence whatsoever,i went to my neurologist and she examined me and basically said that it is most likely not a new relapse,because brain stem lesion(the ones that cause speech issues)usually comes with a handful of other symptoms as well(diplopia,nystagmus,co-ordination and swallowing issues etc),but currently i only have the dysarthria along with right side facial pain that comes and goes and increased fatigue.
i also have low grade fever these past few days so it could be a pseudorelapse,however i never had any speech issues ms related like this and my brainstem and cerebellum have been clear since diagnoses but i sometimes experience tingling and pain in the right side of my cheek,mouth and tongue since diagnoses years ago,could they be interconnected in some way?? I am in the process of switching to ocrevus because i had new brain lesions on mavenclad in 2 consecutive mris.
Is this common in ms?can this happen without a new relapse? this is very terrifying honestly.
