I am currently deciding between Arts and Beedie, and I’m leaning toward Arts first and then trying to transfer to Sauder second year. I have a few questions regarding the process.

- For Arts, should I choose CAP (Political Science, Philosophy, Economics) or building your own timetable if my goal is transferring to Sauder?

- What GPA would you recommend aiming for to have a competitive transfer application (85+)?

- how easy is arts to transfer to other business schools like Rotman or smith?

Please provide me with some advice please!!!

I got accepted into both , and I’m currently waitlisted for Sauder.

Right now I’m really conflicted. I’m about 90% sure I want to pursue business in the future, which makes Beedie appealing since it’s already a business school with co-op and business-related opportunities built in.

At the same time, I’m also considering going into UBC Arts and trying to transfer into Sauder for second year because I really like the UBC campus environment and experience. Part of me feels like I might regret not going to UBC later in life.

My biggest concern is the risk associated with it though — what if I don’t successfully transfer into Sauder second year? Then I’d basically be stuck in Arts in a pretty awkward position, especially since business is likely what I want to do long term.

Please provide me with some advice please,.I am rlly stuck.
