Looking for shows I can watch at work!
Hello! I recently started working overnights at a laboratory. For especially the last half of my shift, we all just sit quietly at our stations and work with our samples. My coworkers all have earbuds in listening to something, and I'm feeling the urge to do the same!
Due to it being at work, I'd like a show with minimal explicit sex scenes (I'm talking to the extent of like Heated Rivalry). I only have the Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max bundle so preferably a show on one of those.
Historically, I haven't actually liked TV, but I can't be touching my phone once my gloves are on, so I need something easy to just put on and leave on. I have liked shows like Hannibal, Supernatural, and Bridgerton. I prefer a more serious or dramatic vibe. I have a very low tolerance for comedy. It makes me cringe out too hard. I don't have TV examples, but I have hated and not been able to sit through movies like 50 First Dates and Dumb and Dumber.
I do like horror, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary genres. Docu-series are good too, but no nature ones due to a phobia of mine lol. I'm slightly hesitant to put on excessively gorey things just because of the nature of my work, but considering my favorite show is Hannibal, I'll give it a try.
