Glazier

Anyone have a recommendation for a local glazier? I have a single sliding glass door panel replacement and it’s presumably too small of a job for any of the local glass companies, who all recommended I find a handyman. The company who manufactured the panel recommends professional glazier installation. Thanks!

Rimless lenses seem thick

Just picked up new Miu Miu rimless frames today. I have a pretty low prescription strength, these are tiny oval shaped, and it was not recommended to purchase thin lenses, so these are polycarbonate 1.59 index. They are objectively thicker (measuring at 3/8”) than my prior glasses lenses, and these actually have a LOWER prescription strength than my priors, so I’m confused as to why they look this way. Very bulky appearing from the sides. When I asked the optician at the store if they intentionally make them this thick to hold the set screws, or if getting the thinner lenses would even make much of a difference in the appearance since my script is pretty low, they couldn’t answer any of my questions. They said they are not able to do any calculations to tell me if the thinner lenses would actually look any thinner for these frames. It seems like a massive waste to buy thin lenses (index 1.74 or 1.67) without any information on whether or not they would look any different than these. Can someone help? Script photo at end.
