What were your GES results, and do you have a feeding tube?
My GES results were in the “severe” category, with 39% remaining at 4 hours. The GES was done during a very low symptom period, so I suspect that my results would be significantly worse during a flare.
I saw a study that said that about 30% of people with gastroparesis will need a feeding tube at some point, and it made me wonder how much correlation there is between GES results and feeding tube use.
So my question is: what were your GES results, and do you have a feeding tube? Do you know of any connection (studied or anecdotal) between the two?
