Why is almost every book on Audible written to help the “poor parents” heal from their estranged child’s actions?
I’m deeply disturbed that this is the case… as a daughter/sister who has had to go no contact with my dad and my sister, I am saddened and suspicious that all help is pointed to helping older generations deal with how their children are hurting them! This seems to be a systemic issue since the books were so clearly slanted towards helping the parents. I have found some books that were helpful in other spaces, but they seemed to be in the minority. Maybe some of us should go write some literature for this community:)
