Experience with cat's pneumonia
Hi! I wanted to ask you about your experiences with cat pneumonia. My 6-year-old cat got pneumonia out of the blue. He's a household cat, never goes outside. He finished his 14-day treatment with Doxycycline and Clavamox. CBC and CRP looked pretty normal. He was negative for heartworm, and no heart issues were seen in the CBC/CMP/X-Ray. Also negative for everything else. But he's still with a stuffy nose. He stopped eating and is now eating again, but his respiratory rate is still 40-60. I took him again to the ER, and they nebulized him with NS 0.9% and gave him Zofran + Cerenia. He got better after that, and now, three days later, we're back to the same. II nebulize him once or twice, and steam once, now I'm doing it twice (today). I'm going nuts, and I'm just crying every day. We have been going to the vet at least 4 times without a real answer. His spirit is good, tho, just weak. What has been your experience?
