MacBook Air M1 vs MacBook Pro 2019 vs MacBook Neo, Which one to buy in 2026?
Hi everyone. I want to buy my first ever mac but my budget is kinda low, after some research I've found 3 options :
1 MacBook Air M1
2 MacBook Neo
3 MacBook Pro 2019
I can't really decide which to get , I've found a used MacBook Air m1 for a very reasonable price , its performance is still very decent but its from 2020, So not sure about the remaining software support.
MacBook Neo is a very recent model so prices are a little higher than M1 , and it will probably have much longer software support too. But its processor is something that I'm not sure about. After all it's from a smartphone.
And lastly MacBook Pro 2019. This one is here because of its larger display and price. But it is an Intel based mac and its from 2019 ( even older than M1 ) so it may not be future proof .
I don't play games. I mainly use my laptops for daily use and editing.
Which one would you pick, or is there a better option I’m missing?
