Best Dance Studios in Prince Georges County, MD
My family and I are moving from Florida to the DMV in August. My 12-year-old daughter has been dancing competitively for six years, and she currently dances on the elite/competitive level. In Florida, she dances at a studio with talented, nurturing dance teachers who emphasize and support a positive team culture, team bonding, dancers' self-esteem and confidence, health/wellness, and discipline. The studio owner and creative director do not tolerate the stereotypical dance mom behavior, including bullying parents and students. The studio is well-respected and has earned numerous awards and accolades. In addition, the dancers typically win first place or place in the top five in their solos, duets, and group dances in most regional and national competitions; however, winning is not the top priority. I want to find a studio in the DMV with a competitive dance team with the same or very similar qualities as my daughter's current studio in Florida. We will likely live in PG County. Can anyone provide recommendations for the best dance studios in PG with competitive teams that also share the qualities I mentioned? I would appreciate any suggestions you all are willing and able to offer. Thank you!
