I built a rune-reading and journaling app - not for predictions, but for reflection

Hey everyone, I've been interested in runes for a while, mostly as a symbolic tool for self-reflection rather than divination. I couldn't find an app that approached them that way, so I ended up building one.

It's called Rune Oracle. The idea is simple: when you're weighing a decision or feeling stuck, you draw a rune, read its symbolic meaning, and use that as a prompt to think through your situation - not as an answer, but as a different lens.

What's in the app:

  • Daily Rune draw + 1, 3, 5-rune spreads and rune cast
  • Full 24-rune Elder Futhark library with meanings
  • Private journal to log questions and reflections over time
  • Rune skins and a small recognition mini game

It's built around reflection and symbolic inquiry, no fixed predictions, no "this rune means X will happen." Just a quiet space to pause and think.

Would love honest feedback from anyone into runes, Norse symbolism, or journaling especially on whether the interpretations feel accurate and useful.
