Uni Acceptances URGENT!!
Today is the last day to accept most offers and i'm have trouble deciding between:
- tmu accounting and finance
- utm social sciences
I know they're so different but I keep being bipolar about it and I genuinely don't know what to pick. I've always loved math and was really good at but during high school my grades weren't the best because my adhd got really bad and my parents wouldn't get me diagnosed. I would do the homework correctly but when the test came I was in fight or flight and just sat there and started writing anything the last 20 mins. I would teach the other kids in my classs how to do it tho and I really liked math classes. Now in grade 12 I gave up on math and took it online and used ai for calc and advanced functions. I heard for accounting and finance there is a hard 1st year math course that's mainly calc and very math heavy. I very recently got diagnosed with adhd and got on meds so I'll have accommodations in uni.
For utm social sciences ill do poly sci and smth else probably like economics of internal relations so I can apply for the co-op intership program at the end of first year. Same thing with math tho im worried I might not be able to handle it. I've always hated essays and reading and I heard that's the only thing ur doing. I feel like maybe I'll be ok cause I really like politics and talking about my options. but I feel like politics might be more of a hobby or just common sense and maybe I should just take accounting and finance cause its easier to get a job and it pays more. Ive heard people say that ai will prob take accounting jobs tho. Also I dont know if I want to got to law school after poly sci and anyway ik uft curves down so its hard to get a high gpa.
also utm social science is half the price and ill compute. tmu Ill prob get housing but idk if its worth the extra 20k
