I’ve been taking Slinda (drospirenone-only pill) for about 3 months now and have been pretty consistent with it.
My usual pill time is 10 PM.
I took my pill Sunday night, then missed Monday 10 PM and Tuesday 10 PM. I had unprotected sex this morning and then realized I missed my pills. I took one active pill at around 8:30 AM today.
I’m also currently sick with fever and watery diarrhea, which I’m worried might affect absorption too.
Questions:
Should I take another active pill today since I missed 2?
Do I need emergency contraception?
How high is the pregnancy risk in this situation?
Would appreciate any advice from anyone familiar with Slinda specifically.
