CAS GPA higher than instituion GPA
My first year in college I didn't do too stellar, but have bounced back from it. Best case I end up with a 3.8low. I have CC credits from high school that are all As, and additionally I'm thinking of taking required math courses through CC at the same time as my normal course load in college because I can't fit them in my schedule and need them to graduate. If I take all the classes I need, I'll end up at a 3.9low
My questions are:
- Will law schools judge the discrepancy harshly? Will they care about my CAS GPA being several hundreths of points higher than at my institution?
- Does taking math courses outside of my institution, and specifically, at the same time as my normal schedule, make me look like I'm cutting corners? The classes would be online, but are requirements for my major.
Thank you.
