RTKR-9.5 months
Here just to ask if anyone else has suffered any complications in the aftermath of healing from a TKR?
In the time since my knee replacement I’ve suffered a torn hamstring, and endless low back pain. My treatments have included steroid shots (back, hamstring). PRP shot (hamstring), 2 medial branch blocks followed by RF ablation for spine. Bilateral SI joint injections.
The main complication now is pain in the left leg. I’ve been to PT (for RTKR, low back and even hamstring), acupuncture, sports medicine doc visit, stretch class, urgent care, another MRI. The pain keeps me up at night. I’ve seen knee surgeon, spine surgeon, doctor who performed the PRP shot. I’m no closer to finding what could be wrong to be causing the left leg pain.
It’s a throbbing, unsettling feeling that seems to be consolidated to left of left leg and behind the knee and calf. It’s worse at night and sometimes goes to foot. I’ve started wondering if it could actually be my left knee acting up after all is said and done. Ruled out: thrombosis of any kind. Infection of any kind. Ongoing now for about a month.
Anyone else have anything like this?
