Japanese fans dug up middle school-era tweets from Munetaka Murakami
Some old posts from Munetaka Murakami’s X account (back when it was still Twitter) from his junior high school days have recently been dug up by Japanese internet users.
It looks like Mune doesn’t really use this account anymore, but he did repost a 2023 World Baseball Classic post once in 2023, so maybe he still logs in occasionally.
One wholesome post just says:
“Guess I’ll do my best at baseball again today lol”

There’s also another post where he was apparently watching Shohei Ohtani pitch on TV during what was probably an Nippon Professional Baseball game and cheering him on.
