5.5mo old naps
My 5.5 mo baby has always been a distressed day sleeper. She sleeps from 7pm to 5am almost uninterrupted, only wakes up once or twice for feeds and diaper change and sleeps almost immediately.
But her day naps are a project.
After a wake window of 2-2.5 hours she starts shrieking and then crying loudly. Her face becomes red and no amount of rocking or paci or anything works. Feels like she cries herself to sleep.
I wondered if shes colic but if that was the case she should show some signs of other times of the day or night. She cries only during her nap timings.
Her schedule is roughly as follows
745pm - 5am sleep
830 - 10am nap 1
1230 - 2 : nap 2
430-5pm nap 3
It takes somewhere between 15 mins to an hour to get her to sleep/stop crying. She stops for a bit then starts again.
Im really worried because of this i cannot leave her alone with my parents or inlaws and im stuck at home. She is able to sleep only with me or my husband rocking her to sleep.
