I am heading to Ocean City MD this weekend and so far I have not been successful in any of my attempts to charge my truck publicly at a Tesla super charger. I have a 2023 Lightning Platinum. I currently charge at home on my wife’s home level 2 Tesla charger. I also have the ford provided Tesla super charger adapter and a A2V adapter that I purchased before I knew I had the ford adapter. I have the blue oval network and I have my own account on our Tesla App. Does anyone know where I can charge without issues in Ocean City? Is there a way to tell what Tesla chargers are open for non Tesla vehicles? TIA
So I tried to charge at a Tesla super charger for the first time today and it did not go well. I have the blue oval network enabled and my card is attached for payment. I used my Ford adapter but it would not recognize the charger. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Luckily I made it through my day and home with 7% left and plugged into my home charger. 1st time I’ve taken the charge that low, didn’t love it but at-least I know it can be done. Can anyone offer any tips or tell me where I went wrong with the super charger? Thanks
Just put an order in for the Nokian Outpost NAT’s, from what I’ve read they seem to be a good pick for my 23’ Platinum. I’m sticking with the 22” OEM wheels. Wondering if anyone else has gone with these tires and if you have any pics on the 22” platinum wheels. I usually prefer a black wheel and have had them on my last 2 trucks but I didn’t want to replace both the tires and wheels this time around. Thanks
I just purchased a 2022 Lightning Lariat extended range off Carvana over the weekend but I am not able to get it delivered till next Friday. In the mean time I have looked at the listing a thousand times. Something just felt off about it and I searched the vin number and saw it come up in the Dallas carvana site. Same truck, mileage, vin but it was listed as standard range battery. After an hour long call with Carvana tonight it seems like the Dallas listing was correct and the listing off the app that I purchased it from was wrong. Had I not figured this out and the truck had been delivered they would have taken my trade in and I would have been without a vehicle because I would not have accepted the standard range model. I drive around 150-200 miles on average daily so I think the standard range would cause me more hassle then I would want. Now they are trying to figure out what went wrong on their end and have granted my non refundable shipping fee back or they will try to find me another truck in that price range with the extended range. This sucks
