Seeking help: BMW iX Android Auto - Region/FSC Issue

Hi all,
I have a BMW iX (2022, GCC spec). The car was delivered with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. CarPlay has always worked fine but Android Auto has never worked properly and always shows a “connection failed check Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi” error.

After many dealer visits, BMW replaced the head unit once. Android Auto worked briefly after the replacement, but once iDrive was rebooted, it stopped working again and reverted to the same error. Dealer insists it’s a region issue, and I think so as well. Same phone works in other BMW/cars btw.

Based on my research, it seems to be related to Android Auto FSC / provisioning / authorization or region‑based restrictions on the MGU, especially since it worked once and then failed again after a reboot. I’m looking for anyone who can take a look into this and see whether this can be fixed without changing the vehicle region, and in a way that survives reboots. Or even region change, is that also a possible option?

Also to note: my car does not have internet connectivity, so no connected drive or myBMW app connectivity, so no OTA, software updates only ever get done through dealer.

I personally don’t have any coding skills, I’m looking for anyone who does remote coding.

Lowe Trade-in offer from dealer- looking for advise how to move forward

I usually have done trade-ins to upgrade cars around every 3-5 years. I know I might have gotten a better deal with directly selling the car myself and then purchasing any car I want, but I also factored in convenience and I was satisfied. But even the current circumstances, the dealer seems to be not in a good position to give attractive deals, so they are offering me something that I find it difficult to work with.

I’ve owned my car for about 4 years, and I’m not very experienced with the private market. I did put it up, but mostly I have gotten even worse deals and many resellers contacted me. I just gave up because it seems I am only reaching to these used car resellers and getting crushing prices.

For some background, car is an EV, 2022 model, mileage 97000km.

The salesman's pitch to me at the dealer was that I haven't spent anything on the car this entire time, since car has been on warranty and still on service package. Even charging has been completely free. So he is telling me to consider all the savings I have done and put it towards the low resale value to make it up.

Is it realistically worth trying to sell privately in Qatar right now, or is the market mostly resellers?

usually how much difference in price should I expect vs the offer that dealers give?
