I submit essays in pdf with no version history

I saw the previous discussion in the sub that professors start to ask for version history on top of Turnitin results. Now I use latex to write my quant papers and they are in pdf… in my case, how does this work lol

Turn on the “track changes” when you write in Word

This is probably widely known, but I thought it worth a share for anyone who hasn’t heard of it.

In Word
- press the “Review” tab and select “Track Changes” to highlight it and turn it on.

Now the word document will keep a record of all your little changes. (For the computer science students or anyone who uses Linux… Git is also useful for this.)

Turnitin scores are never taken at face value. A high score, for AI and/or plagiarism, just alerts teachers but it’s never a hardcore evidence. We all know how often Turnitin makes mistakes! Having track changes turned on for each of your documents means when Turnitin got you wrong, you have the strongest evidence to prove your innocence.
