Just realized something scary about halifax drivers

I went to the shoppers up the road from me, on my ebike, to get some meds for my Fiance who is having allergy issues right now.

On my way home (I live of the corner of Young and Novalea) I turned on to young, and held my hand out to turn left into my parking lot. A vehicle was coming towards me, I made eye contact, while signaling, and made my turn into the parking lot.

After I was well into my parking lot, more than half way, the vehicle honked, and the guy yelled at me, from the street, saying he almost hit me. He was probably over 20 feet away from me when I made my turn.

He yelled that I shouldn't just turn in front of a vehicle without a signal. He drove off before I could explain that me sticking my left hand straight out to my left, IS A TURNING SIGNAL.

So bikers, be aware that there are apparently people in this city that do not know what bike hand signals mean.

Fiance put on tremors tonight. Glad to see Kevin Bacons only movie where he told people how to get on a roof
